Double Blast from the Past! Garbage Pail Kids Video Game Announced for NES
Would you believe there are people still making games for the Nintendo Entertainment System?
Now that we're in the age of Steam and Xbox and Playstation 5 and whatever comes out tomorrow, there are still some dedicated to creating games on older systems including the NES. Yes, they really work on an old Nintendo if you happen to find one at a yard sale or in your parent's attic. One such group is Retrotainment and they made a game based on another beloved franchise from the '80s -- Garbage Pail Kids.
If you're not familiar, the 'anti-cabbage patch kids' were gross stickers you could collect that became popular enough to even get its own movie.
This game will follow under the gross guidelines allowing you to select which character you want to get through these stages.
If you don't have an NES it's okay, this game will also be made digitally for Steam, Xbox, Playstation and Switch.
Look out for it soon. You can preorder the NES game via iam8bit.com.
