Everything You Need To Know If You Are Going To Metallica Concert Tonight
If you are heading to Seattle for tonight's Metallica concert at Century Link Field, there are a few things you should know to make your epic night more enjoyable.
*Concert-goers were allowed to begin lining up outside the venue at 8:00 a.m. this morning.
*Doors will open at 4:00 p.m. and the show is scheduled to start at approximately 6:00 p.m. and go until roughly 11:00 p.m.
*Probably the biggest issue that many get hung-up with when going through security is what can and cannot be brought in to the stadium. Most notably purses/bags - what kind and how big
*Century Link Field has a CLEAR BAG policy and limits the size of purses that can enter.
*Note: You will be turned away and sent back to your vehicle, etc. if you are not in compliance with this policy!
*No other types of bags will be allowed in, including, but not limited to: purses, backpacks, coolers, camera/binocular bags, diaper/fanny/cinch bags
From Metallica's Tour FAQ section of their website:
Besides a list of Do's and Don'ts, there is also a very handy list that includes directions to the stadium, public transportation and taxi/Uber/Lyft info, parking info ($50 dollars at SafeCo Field and Century Link Stadium), box office/will call locations, camera policy, entrance info (for General Admission, disabled, etc.), food & beverage availability (NO TAILGATING ALLOWED!), and merchandise availability.
