According to the "Old Farmer's Almanac" for 2018, Yakima - along with the entire Intermountain Region - should expect a slightly warmer May and June than normal.

The almanac, founded in 1792, has been making long-range weather forecasts for centuries so the must be more right than wrong to be in business that long!

Average temperatures for May should be up by approximately 3 degrees, while June should be up by one.

The Intermountain long range weather region includes Kennewick, Pasco, Richland, Spokane, and Yakima.
