Free Admission To Fair Today With Food Donation

Yakima Rotary is offering a free ticket to the Central Washington State Fair today (9/25) with a donation of three (3) non-perishable food items (no glass, please).

Simply drop-off your items at Sate Fair Park between noon and 4:00 p.m. today and get a free ticket. Even if you need to get back home or to work, the ticket is still valid until the fair closes the gates at 11:00 p.m. tonight.

Then on Saturday, October 5, Rotarians are asking you to "Put It On the Porch" - another food drive that helps to restock 10 area food banks in Central Washington. Paper bags will be distributed to households leading up to the event. Simply fill the bag and leave it on your front porch for pick-up that weekend! If you would like to deliver your donation yourself, foodstuffs can be dropped off at the Salvation Army in downtown Yakima.
