Concert Review: Green Day @ T-Mobile Park!
Green Day brought their Saviors Tour to the Pacific Northwest earlier this week and one of their stops was T-Mobile Park in Seattle!
One of our listeners was so pumped to see Green Day, that she wasn't focused on the rest of the acts (Linda Lindas, Rancid, & Smashing Pumpkins)!
But she was kind enough to give us a Green Day concert report and share photos from the exciting night! So check out this Green Day concert report from Danielle Ackerman.
Green Day's The Saviors Tour Rocks Seattle!
Green Day delivered an unforgettable night of raw punk rock energy in Seattle to a nearly sold out crowd.
From the moment the band took the stage, Billie Joe kept the crowd engaged and entertained with his insane level of energy.
They tore through a setlist of 36 songs playing the complete Dookie album (celebrating the 30 year anniversary), American Idiot album (20 year anniversary for that one) and added a mix of their newest songs off the Saviors album and couple of their other older hits.
The stage visuals and pyrotechnics only added to the experience. Not to mention the giant inflatable “Dookie Plane” from the album cover that flew through T-Mobile Park dropping “Letter Bombs” onto the crowd below as they transitioned to playing the American Idiot album.
I was blown away by the band's continuous energy throughout the 3 hour long concert. I had been waiting well over 20 years to see Green Day live and I’d say it absolutely lived up to their legendary status. - Danielle Ackerman
