HoptemberFEST 2019 Is Right Around The Corner

Every year, the Yakima Schools Foundation* hosts a benefit fundraiser to provide surplus scholarship funds and grant opportunities to students, teachers and administrators in the Yakima School District. I am honored to be one of the board members of the Foundation and this year I was also asked to be the Host/Emcee!

This year on Wednesday, September 18th, the YSF is throwing a big German-styled shindig called HoptemberFEST.

WHAT: HoptemberFEST Fundraiser for Yakima Schools Foundation, including Silent Auction, Live Auction and more.

WHEN: Wednesday, September 18, 2019 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

WHERE: Spring Creek Homestead, 3213 S Tacoma St, Union Gap

DRESS CODE: Casual. German-themed party costumes welcomed.

ADMISSION: $40 per person. This is a 21+ only event.

*The mission of the Yakima Schools Foundation is to enhance educational programs offered within the Yakima School District No. 7 by raising money to fund immediate needs that support current classrooms and programs, and by establishing and maintaining perpetual funding sources, as well as increasing community involvement in the Yakima Public Schools.
