Huskies Pac-12 Season Opener Cancelled V. Cal Due to Covid-19

In a not-so surprising announcement this afternoon, the Pac-12 Conference officially announced that this Saturday's truncated season opener between the Washington Huskies and the California Golden Bears has been cancelled due to a Cal player testing positive for COVID-19.

The U-Dub football program followed with their own statement via their official Twitter account on social media from Athletic Director Jennifer Cohen:

The Huskies are now slated, barring any more unforeseen glitches, to open their short 6 game schedule at Husky Stadium on Saturday, November 14th at 8:00 p.m. against the Oregon State Beavers.
