While I do NOT regret attending this year's fourth annual Chinook Music Festival this past weekend, I have to admit that there was a part of me that knew I was missing out on some tremendous music going on simultaneously at the Gorge Amphitheater on Saturday night.

What may arguably be the biggest rock band on the planet these day -- the Foo Fighters -- was putting on what looked and sounded to be one helluva show as evidenced by this fan shot video.

KATS listener Karen Lombness posted this peek into the goings on where, as far as I can tell, the Foo Fighters were wrapping up their set. The video begins with frontman Dave Grohl admiring the natural beauty of the surroundings that we, as Central Washingtonians, often take for granted. The band then launches into a searing version of their classic "Everlong" (the same song that David Letterman used to say goodbye to America with a few months ago) and Grohl punctuates the tune by saying, "Thanks for a perfect f--king evening!"

From all I can tell, having not been there myself, I suspect he wasn't exaggerating.
