The year 2023 has certainly flown by for me, I don’t know about you. It seems just a few months ago I was watching the "Miley Cyrus New Year’s Eve party" on TV from the comfort of my home in my jammies. This year, I plan to kick it with a bunch of friends in a sportsbar in downtown Yakima and usher in 2024 with a bang.

Before we get to the list of New Year’s Eve 2024 events, I want to ask what is going to be your Word of the Year? I got the idea from Duchess Meghan Markle, who once said that she asks her friends this question every year.

A couple of years ago in 2022, my word of the year was “DYNAMO.” I didn’t attempt to do anything that year unless a dynamic person would do it, and let me tell you, I had an incredible year! So take some time to really think about it and come up with yours.

The following list includes events and parties happening in Yakima, Selah, Ellensburg, Wapato, and places in between. Some events are happening early in the day for those of us who would rather stay home at night, and for all you party animals, I’ve got parties happening in the night time, too.
