Will Yakima Wine Retain Its Title? Vote Daily Until July 21!
Have you voted for the Yakima wine region? Let's help Yakima retain the title.
WILL YAKIMA WIN AGAIN?
Yakima was number 1 last year so why not win again? The Yakima Valley has again been nominated in the USA Today 10 Best Readers' Choice Awards for Best Wine Region, which recognizes outstanding wine regions across the country. A press release from Yakima Valley Tourism says voting is underway at visityakima.com/vote. You have a chance to vote daily until July 21. You can vote on any device including cell phones, laptops and computers.

YOU'RE THE EXPERT
John Cooper, CEO and President of Yakima Valley Tourism says the annual awards are decided through public voting between "20 regions in the U.S. selected by a panel of wine experts and journalists." More than 90 wineries call the Yakima Valley home with many award winning wines year after year. Cooper says all those wineries call the valley home because of the many benefits of living and making wine in the sun filled Yakima area.
SPOTLIGHTING THE VALLEY
Cooper says the Yakima Valley is renowned for its beautiful landscapes and ideal grape-growing climate that produce a variety of award-winning wines.
He says it also puts the spotlight on things that make the Yakima Valley a desirable wine region including "climate, outdoor amenities, farm fresh experiences, fine dining, culture and the arts."
LET'S VOTE NOW
As you know, Yakima Valley Tourism organized a successful campaign last year to get the Yakima Valley voted Best Wine Region. Twenty regions are nominated but only ten are recognized. Vote now.
