This Weekend: See Yakima's Big Stylish Wedding & Quinceanera Show

It’s bridal expo season in the Yakima Valley. This year, the Yakima Sundome is home to the biggest quinceanera and wedding expo in the area.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE YAKIMA 2024 WEDDING EXPO

The event will start off with a freebie: no charge for parking at the Sundome! Another big perk: Kids ages 10 and under will get in for free.

Once you have parked and have a ticket in hand, enter the venue and expect to see lots of vendors that cater to weddings and quinces, food trucks, premiere wedding planners, and live musical performances by event bands for hire.

If you’re planning a special event like these this year, you’ll want to stop by each of the vendor booths to see what they have to offer.

Stick around for a very fun fashion show at 3 p.m. This might be worth the price of admission alone! Sunnyside’s Fashion Corner fashion show theme is “Lights, Music, GLAM!”.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT THE 2024 YAKIMA WEDDING EXPO:

• You are not allowed to bring in any outside food or beverages into the event.

• Food and beverages for purchase will be available on site.

• You must be present to win the Grand Prize drawing (to be held at the end of the Fashion Show).

• Each vendor booth will have its own drawing and you must be present to win. (See Grand Prize Drawing info below.)

• Samples of products and services will be available at some vendor booths.

• Live entertainment will be on the main stage from 11:30 a.m. to 2:35 p.m.

• The first 500 guests will have a chance to receive one of the 30 additional free gift drawings.

• 2 Grand Prizes at the Expo: The Fashion Corner grand prize drawing is a major dollar amount dress credit at the store. A separate grand prize drawing for a hefty rental credit certificate at Bear Services.
