If you or someone you know is looking for a new job, we heard it through the grapevine that Texas Roadhouse in Union Gap is hiring. They are slated to open at the end of July.
The Yakima Valley has been hungering for a Texas Roadhouse restaurant for years. Some of us will even drive the hour and twenty minute drive to eat at the one in Kennewick. (Now that's some dedication!)
Texas Roadhouse Union Gap's Managing Partner, Sarah Zamensky, has revealed on her public Facebook page that the Union Gap location (which used to be the Sea Galley spot for decades) is opening on July 29th.
WHAT IS SO SPECIAL ABOUT TEXAS ROADHOUSE?
The Texas Roadhouse restaurant has built up a reputation for being a great family spot to come have some ribs, chicken, pulled pork, and burgers. They also used to have buckets of peanuts and would let customers eat em' and throw peanut shells on the floor.
I grew up in The South (I was born and raised in Nashville), and we did the same thing at Logan's Roadhouse. It was so much fun!
WHAT JOBS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE NEW TEXAS ROADHOUSE IN UNION GAP?
