Union Gap Fall Book Sale This Saturday at the Heritage Bank Parking Lot
The Union Gap Library*** is hosting a book sale this Saturday (October 17th). Heritage Bank will host the event again this year in their parking lot. Spread the word! According to a flyer listed on the library's Facebook page, this event is a great time to "stock up for winter reading."

Where and What Time
The book sale is from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Heritage Bank in Union Gap is located at 2205 S 1st St.
How the Book Sale Works
I'm excited because it looks like this Saturday will be prime time to hit up two major great sales. First, there's the Pre-Halloween Yard Sale at Warehouse Theatre from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Yakima and while that's happening, there's a Fall Book Sale in Union Gap happening around the same time, too.
The book sale will have tables full of used books for sale and all you do is bring your own bags to fill up with books. Large and sturdy bags are recommended so that you can get more books.
The cost is $20 for large bags and $10 for medium and smaller sized bags. Volunteers will also be selling "Friends of the Union Gap Library" t-shirts on site with sizes ranging from kids to 3X.
According to the FriendsOfUGLCC.org website, funds raised at the Fall Book Sale will help "support programs, services, classes, and technical resources for the citizens of Union Gap and surrounding communities."

***The Union Gap Library is open Tuesdays through Saturdays at 102 W Ahtanum Road.
