A while back we told you that Joy Garden is was moving to another part of town.

Well, happy to say they're officially open now!

Joy Garden's Facebook also announced they have a new menu item. It's something common in Korean cuisine but not common on menus.

That dish is called Jjajangmyun.

Yes, I had to copy/paste that.

This is a noodle dish with a black bean sauce. It's one of my wife's favorites.

Before this we'd have to go to this Korean restaurant in Tri-Cities that has it on the menu. Now we don't need to as it's finally available here in Yakima, but only Monday and Tuesday.

It has parking right up front like it did on the Tieton location, but also has a lot more parking on the side for more seating options inside.

Speaking of seating, there's plenty of seats inside. There's even more in this photo, but I didn't want to take a photo of the people already sitting as that would be weird.

And, yes, they still have the option to cook your K-BBQ right at your table. Interactive and super fun.

When you walk in you're greeted to the staff and, off to the side, you can see the fresh sushi bar. If you order sushi, it'll come from here. Although I'm usually here for Korean dishes, the sushi is very good here. Plenty of options to choose from, too.

Although I didn't mind their old location, it's nice they moved if nothing more than the expanded parking lot. Hopefully the new location will bring them years of success.

They're now at 37th and Fruitvale.
