Sure, some states may have it worse but there are many who would think that Washington would be very high on the list with biggest drug problems when compared to all of the other states in the United States of America.

However, Yes, Washington ranks in the top 10, it doesn't even crack the top 10 states with biggest drug problems in America.

Washington comes in at number 16 when compared to the other states.

    Arkansas came in 1st for highest opioid pain relief prescriptions per 100 people.
    West Virginia has the most O.D.s per 100,000 people.
    New Mexico has the highest number of teens using illegal drugs.
    Vermont has the highest shares of adults who use illegal drugs.

    To look at the opposite end of the spectrum, Utah is listed as the state with the lowest amount of drug problems, followed by Florida and Minnesota.

    Though Washington was pretty high on this list at #16, here's hoping we can get further down the list when this study comes out for next year.
