It's barely even 2025 and there are already reports of more businesses closing shop.

One favorite place by many in Yakima has expressed such a future could be a reality for this quant place in town.

The Willow Cafe and Market just posted on their Facebook page the struggles they've been having and, if something doesn't change soon, it'll be too much for them to remain open.

As they mention, food and labor costs to stay open are rough in today's economy. And, unless something changes between now and then, they figured they have about a month left.

February 9th is the tentative closing date. Again, unless something changes.

I mean, when food looks as good as this, how can you decline visiting sometime in the near future?

I was happy to check out The Willow when it first opened and have been there a few times in these past 16 months. I'll be sad to see it go if it gets to that point.

How can you help?

Helping is easy. Visit. Stop by sometime and grab a sandwich. Even just a drink from their amazing drink menu.

The Willow Cafe and Market is a super fun shop on Tieton that has great food, unique menu items, great drinks, and such a cozy atmosphere. We need more places like this in Yakima and so many would be devastated to see it go. Please support.
