Kupp, as well as the Rams, were shocked on Sunday (December 20) by the winless New York Jets in a shocking 23-20 loss at home. The defeat, combined with the Seattle Seahawks win over Washington, dropped the Rams into second place in the NFC West and the number 5 seed in the NFC playoff picture.  Despite the crushing blow, the Rams still control their own destiny as they can reclaim first place in the Western Division as they will face the Seahawks for the second time this season in a Week 17 clash at Lumen Field in Seattle that will likely determine the 2020 division winner.

On Sunday afternoon, Kupp hauled in 5 passes for 39 to bring his season totals to 84 receptions for 908 yards and three touchdowns.
