Laptop Assasinating Dad Gets Visit From C.P.S.

The latest viral video making the rounds has been the one with an upset father trying to teach his daughter a lesson about respect by, well... killing her laptop computer. See the original video here (WARNING: Coarse language)

Turns out, the police as well as child protective services, paid Mr. Tommy Jordan a visit. 

While I, as a father myself, may have handled the same situation much differently, I cannot for the life of me see why the authorities had any reason whatsoever to question this man and inspect his home.  As far as I can tell, nobody or nothing was threatened, injured or assaulted.  And discharging a firearm is certainly legal in much of the country.

I don't like it when others question my life's decisions or how I may discipline my child, which is why I respect his...  and the right of others to do the same.  The government and the police should do the same.
