Yakima's Leviticuss Makes Us Proud After Aftershock Competition

Yakima rockers, Leviticuss, climbed the ranks and finished just shy of nabbing the top spot in the Battle For The Main Stage at the Aftershock Music Festival in Sacramento, California. Going up against 63 other bands and making it to the final round is not an easy task to do, and I am so proud of these guys!

As the weeks went by and more and more bands dropped from the rankings, Leviticuss stood strong and kept advancing, and with them, their fans, holding watch parties for the last two major rounds: 5th Line Brewing Co. in Yakima on 8/16 and Selah Springs Brewing Company in Selah on 8/23.

The contest was on; saying it was close is an understatement. Just 5 votes were the difference.

I am so proud of all the work that these guys have done, and how far they’ve climbed. Let’s look ahead at what Leviticuss has in store.

They won another competition just last week for the Too Broke To Rock Challenge for a spot to rock with Kingdom Collapse, Moon Fever, and Nothing Shameful at the Knitting Factory in Spokane on September 6th.

And then it’s all eyes on Rock The Locks!

3 Days, 25 bands, and yes, Leviticuss will be there! In celebration of all they have done, and as awesome as Rock The Locks is, 94.5 KATS has been doing Friday remote broadcasts, getting you signed up for 3-day passes to Rock The Locks in Umatilla, Oregon, and we’ve been filling your LUNCH hours during the remotes with bands that will be rocking the locks, Leviticuss included!
