Line Drive Dethrones M’s King Felix Hernandez In First Spring Start
The Seattle Mariners are wasting no time picking up where they left off last season.
After setting a Major League record for most pitchers used in a single season, the M's suffered what could be another major blow to their pitching rotation today when "King" Felix Hernandez - who spent much of the 2017 campaign on the shelf due to injury - was seared in his right pitching arm by a line drive in his first Cactus League start today.
Hernandez immediately left the game with an escort of Mariners trainers.
