So a funny thing happened to me as I was driving home from work late this past Tuesday night (July 3rd). I went to turn a corner to get onto a certain street in Yakima, and the next thing I know, I have to swerve out of the way! There are a lot of cats running around my neighborhood at 10:30 at night, so I'm usually driving a little bit more cautious, but I didn't expect to have to swerve out of the way of a giant black computer desk!

After I pulled over to the side and stopped. I turned on my hazards so I could move the debris to the side of the street. I originally thought it was some type of ramp, like how some people use a little ramp to get their motor homes / camper / trailers over the curb. But when I got closer, I saw that it was more than a ramp. At second glance I was like, wow, this is a nice shelf. I was originally going to pull it off to the side of the road, but seeing what it really was, I decided to take it home, and see if it belonged to any of my neighbors. When I got it into my garage and really looked at it, that's when I realized it is most likely a computer desk.

No one that I personally know claimed it as theirs, so I figure I'd reach out to Yakima as a whole to find it's owner. I'm not asking anything as a reward for the rescuing of the desk, except that whoever moved it, take better care of their stuff while moving. It was dark, and I almost drove right into it with my truck. Just a simple Google Search you can find out the penalties of an unsecured load.

Now, maybe someone just didn't want the desk. They decided to just get rid of it, and leave it in the road for someone like me to take home. That's technically littering. That's another hefty fine. Don't believe me, just ask Google!

Now, if this was just an accident, and you didn't mean any harm, and would like your desk back. You can send me an email at Timmy@townsquaremedia.com and we'll see if we can make a furniture connection. Now to prevent just some random person claiming that they're the rightful owner, you'll need to know where it was found, (or at least tell me the route you took while moving it, and I'll determine it was found in that area) and there was also one more item that was found with the 6 foot tall, 19 inch deep, 42 inch wide desk. If you can identify the other thing found & the lost location, we'll figure out how to get the desk back to you.

Sorry about the mess in my garage, I find a lot of stuff on the street (joking... kind of). I will be checking my email off and on through out the weekend, so if you do not hear back from me, please be patient. If I do not find the proper owner, it just might become a fixture at the radio station!
