A man who had been missing for two days was found dead at the Oregon Zoo in Portland.

The body of 62-year-old Carl Ross was recovered in a rhino exhibit that was under construction. The Oregon Zoo had been hosting a concert the day Ross was reported missing. At the time of his death, there were no rhinos in the habitat. The Oregon Zoo is the state's most popular visitor attraction. The 1,800 animals at the Oregon Zoo were visited by more than 1.6 million people in 2016. During the 2017-18 fiscal year, they set a zoo record with 1.7 million visitors.
