Motorist Killed, Son Injured By Falling Tree In Northwest Storm

The Seattle Times is reporting that a 4-year-old boy survived but his father was killed after a tree fell, caused by high winds, on the vehicle they were in near West Seattle.

The incident occurred as a result of a storm that has wreaked havoc in the Northwest, which includes a tornado in Manzanita, Oregon.

Tens of thousands of customers remain without power on the west side of the state.
