Are you ready to jam out to some funk and soul in Yakima? The opportunity doesn't come often around here, we usually have to go to Seattle, Portland, or sometimes the Tri-Cities to hear any kind of music like this!

The other day, one of my girlfriends sent out a group chat asking if our crew wanted to join her at the Gilbert Cellars ranch (not in the tasting room but out in the amphitheater space) this coming Wednesday (July 20) to see a band named Nubella Honey. My first thought was, WHO IS NUBELLA HONEY?

Nubella Honey is a musician and she has her own band, too. She is currently on her "Sagittarius Tour". There is a stop in Portland at Rock City Book Club. A couple of days later, Nubella Honey comes to wow us amongst the lavender at the Gilbert Cellars Tasting Room out there in West Valley. Their following tour stop will be the next day performing at Central Saloon, which happens to be a 19th Century saloon and the oldest saloon in Seattle!

Nubella Honey will perform on Wednesday, July 20th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. This means, you'll want to get there kind of early to snag seats for you and your crew!

It's a BYOLC kind of party, i.e. Bring your own lawn chair or a blanket to sit on
Some sunscreen
A sunvisor hat, baseball cap, umbrella, or sunglasses to shield out the sun

- Wine by the glass or bottle
- Some food from the taco truck

One of my absolute favorite food trucks in the Valley, 5 Salsas, will be selling delicious food at the show from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

CAN YOU GIVE ME SOME GOOD DIRECTIONS TO THE GILBERT CELLARS TASTING ROOM ON DRAPER ROAD?

Sure, I can do that. After all, I get lost going out there all the time! The easiest way I can say is to get on Ahtanum Road from your direction, and then keep going until you get to S Wiley Rd. Take a Right, then take a slight left onto Draper Rd. You will see signs for the Gilbert Tasting Room.
