New Beginning Christian Community Church will be giving away food boxes to families in need throughout the month of February.

Four locations throughout the Tri-Cities and surrounding area will be the designated locations for people in need to receive boxes filled with items from local farms. The food boxes (MAY) include fresh dairy, protein, and produce. Each box will total approximately 30 pounds of food.

The Farmers to Families Program, organized by the U.S. Department of Agriculture is working with a Coronavirus food assistance program to help feed people all across the country.

New Beginning Christian Community Church has partnered with Cascadia Produce of Wauburn and Farmer frog of Woodinville to provide the food boxes to families throughout the area.

This Saturday will be the first of four distribution events. You should arrive by 11 am at Othello Church of the Nazarene at 835 South 10th Avenue in Othello.

The food boxes will be distributed on a first come first serve basis. ***NO HOLDS***

You're required to stay in your vehicle and wear your mask.

Someone from the team will visit your window and load your trunk with the goods.

The food distribution is from 11 am till 1 pm, or until all the boxes are given away.

The schedule for the following Saturdays will be the same times, however different locations.

On February 13th, the distribution location will be at Restore City Church at 2227 West Peninsula Drive in Moses Lake.

On February 20th, the distribution will be at the Neighborhood Church at 585 East Allen Road in Sunnyside.

And, the final event will be held on February 27th at New Vintage Church at 2588 North Columbia Center Boulevard in
Richland.
