How much do you have to make to ‘Make It’ in the Pacific Northwest? Forget just ‘making it’; what about actually being happy? Times are rapidly changing, but we have a starting point and an estimate for the amount of money you’d need to make to be happy in Washington and the surrounding states. Take a look at our list below.
You Can’t Buy Happiness… Can You?
Whoever said ‘You can’t buy happiness’ probably spent a lot of money trying to do so. Sadly, happiness and money do go hand in hand for most people. Even if it is not so much money to make you happy, but just enough to take care of the bills and necessities, it can give you some peace of mind, which can lead to happiness.
I recently wrote about happiness levels and which cities are the happiest across the United States. Washington had a few of the happiest cities, with Seattle cracking the top 15, and one of the factors that went into the rankings was economy, employment, and income (read more on that here).
So how much money do you think you need to make to be happy in the Pacific Northwest?
