Super Rare Look at Davis High School Way Back in 1995
Let's take you back to over 20 years ago when many of our local grown-ups were kids. Some are business owners, some are now moms and dads, some may have moved away from town and are missed every day by those still in Yakima. Fortunately the good people on The Q Tapes YouTube channel decided to document some of A.C. Davis High School from back in 1995.
Nothing will ever top those 90's fashion.
Someone else pointed this out to me but watching this, just school kids casually standing around or walking to their next destination -- no cell phones. I mean, of course, we didn't have cell phones during this time, but it's fun to see people actually walking with eyes forward or standing around in the circle talking to each other, not looking at their screens.
Along with filming this courtyard scene they also filmed a few extra shots and even interviews with random students in the courtyard including leaving in the multiple takes. Fun to see.

To find out more about how has the price of gas changed throughout the years, Stacker ran the numbers on the cost of a gallon of gasoline for each of the last 84 years. Using data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (released in April 2020), we analyzed the average price for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline from 1976 to 2020 along with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for unleaded regular gasoline from 1937 to 1976, including the absolute and inflation-adjusted prices for each year.
