15th District State Representative Bruce Chandler knows his way around Olympia and the State Capital.  He has been showing up on behalf the residents of the district for more than 20 years.

He spoke with KIT radio today and talked about a variety of topics including taxes.  Chandler says there is simply no way the legislature will not have the money it wants to spend, unless business is allowed to open up across the state in order to generate the tax revenue necessary for the Democrats shopping spree.

Chandler isn't so sure a gas tax will take shape like the transportation package proponents hope it will either

The Representative says the legislature is operating in an awkward and inefficient  manner because of the Coronavirus Pandemic which could delay or complicate progress.

As far as legislation to trim back the Governor's unending emergency powers and allow for input by the legislature, Chandler says he's hopeful that some kind of progress can still be made.
