R.I.P., President George H.W. Bush — the Man of Many Wonderful Socks
President George H.W. Bush passed away Friday night at age 94.
He was the country's longest living former president. This comes just a few months after the passing of his wife, former first lady Barbara Bush.
I didn't live much through his presidency, I was born two days after Bill Clinton won the election. But I've always admired his kind spirit. But I've really dug his style through the years.
President Bush in his later years was known for his flashy socks. It was a nice pairing with his formal suits. I was rocking some cool Rick and Morty socks today, but tomorrow I'm gonna bust out my American flag socks in honor of 41!
From congressman to director of the CIA, vice president, and finally president of the United States, it was a life well lived. A life full of service.
