Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl-winning quarterback Russell Wilson is spending some of his offseason not preparing for another NFC championship, but playing professional baseball for the Texas Rangers. Earlier Saturday, he worked out with the club, taking infield practice and belting a home run, albeit in batting practice.
Many fans might not realize just how talented an all-around athlete Wilson is.  In fact, he struggled to decide which of the two professional sports he wanted to pursue. Originally, he was drafted by the Colorado Rockies and spent time in the minor leagues playing part of a short-A season with the Tri-City Dust Devils of the Northwest League.

After choosing the NFL, the Texas Rangers decided to use a draft pick on him anyway, thinking that he could attend spring training and teach some of their younger players the winning attitude he has displayed and become so successful with in just three short years with the Seahawks.
