Scariest Job In Washington State

We have all white-knuckled the drive over the bridge at Deception Pass, but can you imagine having the job to keep it maintained?

The Washington Department of Transportation shared a series of photos this week that made my stomach turn just thinking about the heights these guys dangle over.

Could you do that job? I guess my answer would be that it depends on the pay.

According to the Bureau of Labor and Statistics they make around $40,000 a year, which I thought was kind of low considering the danger.

Either way, don't expect but a few hardy souls to apply for that job!
