The Seattle Seahawks stayed put in day 32 of the NFL draft and used their pick, the 56th overall, to select a small wide receiver out of a smaller school.
While Seattle did not have a choice in the first round, they reminded fans that their #1 pick actually played last season as they traded away their draft position to the New York Jets for All-World Safety Jamal Adams.

Eskridge, listed at under 5'9" tall, is an explosive receiver that can also return kickoffs. He has been clocked at running a 4.38 40-yard dash which is, obviously, lightning fast.

While many thought Seattle might go for help on the offensive line to help and appease Russell Wilson, sometimes a team must take the best available athlete on the board.
