Seattle is ranked 16th in the country. Not bad!

New York came in first place, followed by Los Angeles and San Diego.

Many things were considered for this list, including affordability, attractions and safety.

If you're wondering, Yakima didn't make the top 100. It could be that Yakima doesn't allow fireworks to be lit outside of joining the big event at the fairgrounds. In fact, Seattle is the only city that made the list in Washington. Portland came in at No. 43.
