POLL: The Seattle Seahawks Limited Edition Expired Beer! What Should Be Done With It? – Vote Now
With October 27th being National American Beer Day, I wanted to celebrate it. But how should I celebrate? Sure I could crack open a cold one. After I’m done with that, then what? Crack open another one? When I’m done with that, then what? Crack open another one? If I only have a 6 pack, then my celebration of National American Beer Day is almost over. Instead I wanted to crack open something that might be a little more special.
In the radio station, we have a special edition Seattle Seahawks Limited Edition Bud Light can of beer… UNOPENED! Now, you might be thinking, sweet, chug that bad boy, GO HAWKS! Before I crack open this can of alcoholic Seahawk Fan Fuel, just know, that the expiration date on the bottom of the can is October 30th, 2017. Yeah, I’m debating celebrating National American Beer Day with, pretty much, a 5 year old can of limited edition Bud Light.
What is the normal shelf life?
So I went to the store and grabbed a can (same kind) yesterday (10/26) and the date on that can was February 13th, 2023. So you’re looking at around 4 to 5 months of freshness. The can I have is, needless to say, quite a bit past its “fresh by” date.
What should I do?
Should I drink it? Should I wait another 5 years for the 10 year anniversary to enjoy it? Should I drink it to celebrate the Seahawks claiming the Number 1 Spot in the NFC West Division? Or hold on to the beer, in case they lose the top spot, then I can “pour one out for the homies”? Take the poll below, and whatever is decided, I’ll record a video of it, and share the decision next week.
