Shinedown, Papa Roach, Slash, Nikki Sixx + More Offer 9/11 Tributes Via Twitter
Today marks a day of reflection for many as we remember the tragic 9/11 attacks in New York, Washington, D.C. and Shanksville, Pa. Amidst terrorism, there were also great acts of heroism with many sacrificing their lives to protect others.
While time has passed since that horrific September morning in 2001, every year provides a reminder of what was sacrificed on that day and there are many in the rock community who've turned to Twitter today to offer their tributes. Shinedown, Papa Roach, Slash, Nikki Sixx, Aaron Lewis, and David Draiman are just a few of the musicians who offered their reflections on what the day means to them.
