Should Downtown Yakima Have Scooter Rentals?

In many big cities, I'm seeing these scooter rentals pop up more and more. So I guess my question is, should Yakima should see these, too?

On one hand, they're very cheap to rent. You set it up as an app on your phone which basically unlocks it and tracks your movement to see how long you've had it. Once you get to your destination, you close out and it's all covered. Kind of like using Uber, but you are your own pilot.

I know what you're thinking. If these came to Yakima they would just get stolen. Well, these are all trackable. So if they were stolen they'd be easy to recover from the company.

I've seen these in Portland and most recently in Pasadena, Calif.

If these came to Yakima, would you be apt to use them around town?
