Stephen Hawking Gives $100 Million For Extraterrestrial Research

Extraterrestrial life has to exist in the universe. Stephen Hawking feels the exact same way. So much so that he has forked out $100 million to search for life on other planets.Hawking and entrepreneur Russian millionaire Yuri Milner have announced that they will be contributing the cash to fund ET research at the U.K's national academy of science.

Some of the money will be going to the use of two top telescopes in the world. One is in West Virginia and the other in Australia. The telescopes work just a few hours a day now, but thanks to the money from Hawking and Milner, they will be able to observe for longer periods.
