Yakima Man Predicts Super Bowl LX Winner With a Magic 8-Ball

Who will win Super Bowl LX? That is the question everyone is asking. Will Seattle clinch the victory? Will New England get the victory again? Will Seattle decide to pass in the final play (let’s hope not)? These are the questions everyone is asking, and I know the answers, thanks to the help of my Magic 8 Ball!

Using the Dark Arts For Sports Betting

I’ve tempted the dark arts many times in the past with basketball brackets, NASCAR numbers, puck players, baseball bets, and of course, asking who will win major Football games by using my trusty Magic 8-Ball. So far, it’s done well.

Last I checked, the magic 8-Ball was batting about a 72% of accuracy in my picks. That might not be good enough to lay some hard money on the line, but it’s a better average than the Groundhog has (just sayin’).

How I Use The Magic 8-Ball For Sports

Since the Magic 8-Ball uses a “Yes/No” answer system, I do the best 2 out of 3 (but switch it up). If the response I get is a “try again” type message… I try again.

For the big game, I simply asked first:
Will Seattle defeat New England?

The 2nd question was the same, only reversed:
Will New England defeat Seattle?

And when it came to a 3rd ask… I didn’t need one.

The Magic 8-Ball answered The Big Game Question!

When I asked the first question, “Will Seattle defeat New England?”, the response was: “Very doubtful”.

When I asked the second question, “Will New England defeat Seattle?”, the response was: “As I see it, yes”.

Since I’m personally rooting for the home team of Seattle, I re-asked only using the team names, Seahawks and Patriots, and I got the same answers.

IF the Seahawks win over the Patriots on Sunday, I may just be forced to retire the Magic 8-Ball and turn to my Red Sonja Tarot Card Deck for predicting the future with the dark arts!
