Swim at Lions, Franklin or YMCA Pools to Earn Free Buss Passes

Exciting news for all the pool lovers! Yakima Transit has teamed up with Yakima Parks and Recreation to bring you FREE bus rides this summer. With every paid admission to Lions Pool, Franklin Pool, or YMCA Rotary Aquatic Center Pools (5th North Naches in Yakima or 38 River Road in Yakima) you will receive two bus passes! One for the trip home and one for your next pool adventure.

There's nothing like taking a dip in the water on a summer day to cool off while saving money! This should sound pretty sweet to parents, guardians, and babysitters!

Being a lifeguard back in the day I feel it is my duty to make sure to remind you to wear your sunscreen and also make sure to reapply after a few hours, drink loads of water and make sure to eat snacks. Wear your sunglasses and even a hat if available and NO running around the pool deck. It's the slipperiest place to be pulling that AND if you don't stop doing it, you could end up with a time-out. Nobody wants that business. So stay safe and be smart!

From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.
