Yakima Transit will once again be providing free shuttle bus service to the Central Washington State Fair all ten days of the fair. Shuttle buses will run continuously from the Park and Ride location at Gateway Center. Passengers can get on at the bus stop located north of the former Office Max and head directly to the front gates of the fair, saving on parking fees.

The Central Washington State Fair opens this week, and I am looking forward to everything the fair has to offer. I have to be honest, though, I had no idea that the kids area was so educational. They have set up that part of the fair with some serious thought. I walked in and was immediately inspired.
