The Seattle Mariners had a couple of rarities today. First, they were able to rough up Zack Greinke. Second, their thus-reliable bullpen imploded in the 8th inning giving up 5 runs en route to 7-5 loss to the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park.

Last night, the Mariners simply didn't have enough Kyles to keep up with the Houston Astros in a 5-2 loss as both namesakes Seager and Lewis both hit home runs. Tonight (April 27) only one Kyle collected the measly two hits.

A couple of home runs, including the first of the 2021 campaign by reigning American League Rookie of the Year Kyle Lewis, were the only damage the Seattle Mariners could muster tonight (April 26) against the nearly full-strength Houston Astros in a 5-2 loss.
