Jane's Addiction have experienced their share of downtime during their career, but they've been on a pretty good roll as of late. However, according to singer Perry Farrell, the alt-rock giants are on hiatus once again.

Since reuniting in 2004, new material from the Pixies has been scarce. The influential alt rock band has only released two new songs since their reunion — an original track called ‘Bam Thwok’ and a cover of Warren Zevon’s ‘Ain’t That Pretty At All’ –  despite a successful world tour. Now it seems Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Farrell let the cat out of the bag that the Pixies are finally working
