Todd’s Take: My New Work Neighbor Likes Country and Rock

As a child of the 70's, I'm well-versed in Sesame Street. They used to have a recurring segment called "Who are the people in your neighborhood?"
Recently, I got a new neighbor in my radio station neighborhood. Jim Pearson is the host of "The JimShow" on our country music format sister station 92.9 The Bull and works in the morning just down the hall from me.
I found it quite ironic that, just yesterday, Jim was in the studio wearing a Metallica t-shirt. I asked him to come into my office for a minute to snap a pic in front of my Dwight Yoakam poster!
I guess you could say we're akin to Donny and Marie Osmond when they sang "I'm a Little Bit Country, I'm a Little Bit Rock and Roll". The Rock Jock (me) with a country music poster and the Country DJ with an iconic rock band t-shirt!

And for the record, I'm a fan of Dwight Yoakam's music but just as big a fan of his acting chops. When he played the role of Doyle Hargraves in the movie "Slingblade", it was easily one of the most truly evil characters I've ever seen in a movie (NSFW).
