10 Washington Towns People Say “Really Suck”

Hometown pride is something we all have, at some point in our lives, but as we get older and wiser, we start seeing the cracks in our happy community, and finally admit that maybe our town sucks, at least a little. These 10 Washington towns might suck so bad that there are reviews.

I was born in Yakima, grew up in Naches, and have lived in a few different places throughout Central Washington, and that old saying “home is where the heart is”, really does ring true.

Sadly, it took me almost 20 years and a trip halfway across the globe to realize that. I, like many young people, at times thought that my town (and neighboring city) sucked.

“This place sucks, there’s nothing to do!”
– Every Young Person.

Then I visited my cousins in Seattle, and they acted the same way. Then I went to Madrid, Spain, and stayed with a family for 10 days, and found the people my age said the same thing, and I realized the places aren’t boring, or ‘sucky’, it’s the person who is boring and whose outlook on life and hometown sucks.
