To hear some people say it, you'd think that our state of Washington has the most restrictions regarding the coronavirus than any other. You know what? They just might be correct!

According to a new study from our good friends at WalletHub.com, the Evergreen Sate ranks #46 in their list of states with the fewest COVID-19 restrictions. In other words, the 6th MOST!

How did they arrive at their findings? They culled data in 14 different categories and weighted them to come up with a score. The categories include many of the issues we have all been dealing with such as: wearing a facemask, travel and large gathering restrictions, reopening of schools, restaurants and bars, etc.

The state with the fewest? Oklahoma followed by South Dakota, Iowa at #3 with Arkansas and Florida rounding out the Top 5. The five states that have it worse than us include: New Mexico (47th), the District of Columbia (48th), Massachusetts (49th), Virginia (50th) and California pulling up the rear.

Some other interesting findings show that Washington has many restrictions but also a LOW death rate.

Conversely, we also have a very high unemployment rate compared to the rest of the union:
