The first time I saw this movie, I will admit, the boat scene scared the chocolate out of me, but now as an adult re-watching it, that's part of the charm. Noticing all of quirks, details and little bits that as a kid just go right over your head as a child. Like, why in boat scene, there are the exact number of seats that they needed? 10 minutes prior, the boat would have been over capacity. & where did the oompa loompa's actually come from and did Wonka break any work & labor laws? Then I just sit back and remember it's a movie and I enjoy! I have so many fond memories of this film! The soda that makes you float, the Everlasting Gobstoppeer, the CHOCOLATE RIVER!
