Watch or Play: Live-Action Laser Tag in Yakima Is Wild Fun

Did you know Yakima has the closest thing to a live-action video game that you can get? And one of the coolest aspects of it is that if you can't play in person, you can at least watch from the comfort of your house!

That's right, it's kind of like Yakima's very own Call of Duty game. Play it in person, or watch your fellow Yakimites go to battle, it's your call, and we have the details for you.

Where to Play Video Game Family Fun in Yakima

Several fun businesses in Yakima feature with arcades and laser tag. The Yakima Family Fun Center at the Meadowbrook Mall (7200 W Nob Hill Blvd), Nerds Fun Center & Laser Tag (2312 S 1st Street), and Tactical Tag & Tact Axe (315 W Yakima Ave).

But, to the best of my knowledge, only one gives you that Call of Duty feel, whether you're in person playing the game or sitting at home watching the action being streamed to your device, and kudos to Tactical Tag for helping share the excitement online.

I experienced Tactical Tag during their Halloween Tactical Terror event and had heard how they stream their tournaments, but seeing it pop up on my Facebook feed the other night made me LOL (out loud) and watch with a smile.

Next thing I know, I'm glued to my phone, watching the teams go at each other in the different modes of play, especially one that took place a few weeks ago on June 24th.
