For anyone that doesn't personally know me, know that I don't watch a lot of television.

I have one, and when I do find time to sit down and enjoy it, I really enjoy it. I think I've found myself getting too invested in a show, only for it to be canceled or to get taken off streaming before I'm finished with it.

For those reasons, I'm usually late to the party on a lot of shows, but that might probably change with this show.

My friend Brandon Huck posted a weird, kind of cryptic picture on his Facebook page, with the caption:

Wait… whut?!?!?
IYKYK

If You Know, You Know… that's the problem, I didn't know! And I wanted to know; that way, I could be one of the few who really did know… you know?

I tried doing my own sleuthing, with no luck. I finally admitted defeat and asked Brandon what this was from.

What weird computer mainframe did he hack to find out Yakima's secrets?

Or, knowing my friend's love for retro video games, which version of what cartridge game contained a digital Rolodex for Yakima?

He told me how it is from a really amazing show called Severance on AppleTV.

The blink-and-you-miss-it glimpse of Yakima's existence in this show was spotted by Helen Dahlke and pointed out to him immediately!

"Each episode just keeps making more questions than answers, and it's AMAZING"

– Brandon Huck.

He offered to tell me why Yakima was visually mentioned in the show, but I declined his excited knowledge for two reasons.

If it was a 'blink-and-you'll-miss-it' moment, then I'm sure it wasn't super relevant to the overall plot, and more importantly, if the show is as good as Brandon says it is, I wanna jump head first with no knowledge whatsoever, and then most likely cuss myself out when I finish it up and realized I missed the Yakima reference.

We can't say why we liked these shows, but we can certainly say why we can't watch them now.
