Music lovers came to the Crown Ballroom (previously the Seasons Performance Hall) to enjoy an enchanted night of music and memories. One of our listeners, Cassandra Phillips, was in attendance and shared her ‘Concert Report’ with us. Check it out below.

Peppino D’Agostino Made My Heart Dance

We were welcomed into the Crown Ballroom with smiles and warmth.

The building itself was nicely kept up. Beautiful painted glass windows on each side and above our heads. Such an inviting atmosphere.

The sound system was set perfectly for tonight's performance. The light created a soft glow.

A thunderous applause welcomed Giuseppe "Peppino" D'Agostino onto the stage.

The songs he performed flowed freely from mind to fingertip. A little bit of folk telling and history of each song was shared with the humble crowd. Sharing music inspired by Brazil and from Italy

The music touched my soul, and my heart was dancing.

For one of the songs, he asked us to close our eyes and listen to the music. Throughout the room, some eyes were open, others closed. But we came together as a community and a calmness swept over this room. Incredible

He really helps you create a visual to his music. Such talent

He was a very kind man. The crowd got to meet him in person. He genuinely took time to meet anyone who wanted to talk.

A big thank you to Peppino for visiting, the folks at the Crown Ballroom for giving us an amazing place to gather, and a happy Anniversary to Taylor Music. Here’s to another 90 years.
