In what many in the area dubbed "the concert of the summer," Beck and Cage the Elephant brought their The Night Running Tour in the Pacific Northwest Saturday night (July 13) at the Gorge Amphitheatre. Though the tour kicked off in Ridgefield last Thursday, many around the PNW flocked to the Gorge.

Beck and Cage the Elephant collaborated on a new single -- Night Running -- featured on Cage's latest album, Social Cues. Beck has a new album in the works -- Hyperspace -- that is due out sometime this summer. His last album, 2017's Colors, saw a return to his alternative roots and was also a favorite among fans.

Opening for both bands was indie-alternative rock group and PNW faves Spoon, plus newcomers Starcrawler, who put on a performance that had to be seen to be believed.

The last time Beck played the Gorge was at Sasquatch! in 2012, when he was one of the headliners. Cage would play Sasquatch two years later, with Spoon playing the festival last year.

Here's a photo recap of what you missed out on if you weren't able to make it out to the Gorge last weekend:
